Our highly trained staff do hundreds of bulk and bottled wine freight loadings per year. We utilize different shipping methods to get wine from one destination to the next, depending on the product size and form (bulk or bottled). Within South Africa we rely on road transport. The transporting of final products to international destinations will be done by means of ocean freighters.
The wine is shipped in specified containers, which range from IBC (1200 l) to Flexitanks (10 000 – 24 000 l) and Tanktainers (26 000 l). Shipment sizes vary from single containers per client to the contracting of entire freighters, which transport millions of liters per annum. Options available:
CIF – Stellenberg Wines controls all aspects of the local and international transport / shipping process, all fees included in price up until port of unloading. *This option is strictly reserved for standing clients.
FOB – Stellenberg Wines only manages local transport and associated fees.
EX Works – The Client handles all aspects of transport, both locally and international. All fees outside of the loading facility billed towards the client.
